Longest tunnel ever!
Today we went to Kenny's home town that's more towards the east coast and got to meet more of Charlie's extended family.
A new tunnel just opened last month that's 12.9 kilometers long! It seemed to go on ... and on .... Charlie thinks it's the 3rd largest tunnel in the world. This picture is just before going into it.
For lunch today, we had duck soup (without the heads thankfully).Tomorrow we say "bye" to Taiwan and "hello" to Hong Kong (God willing and no more typhoons)!
The typhoon didn't hit very hard where we were. It apparently hit southern Taiwan more this time.

I wouldn't want to get stuck in the middle of that tunnel.
How was the duck soup? Did you like it?
Traveling must be so much fun. To see other cultures and really live in them. I hope we can experience that when our kids are older.
I hope you enjoy your trip to Hong Kong. How far is that from where you are?
